A female Quran teacher for kids: meet Ustadha Ayesha Azmat

Ustadha Ayesha Azmat leads Best Kids Quran. She teaches children live and one-to-one on Zoom, in English, Urdu and Arabic.

  • Alimah Fazilah qualification
  • Ijazah in Tajweed-ul-Quran, Hafs 'an 'Asim
  • Teaches live, one-to-one

Who is Ustadha Ayesha Azmat?

Ustadha Ayesha Azmat leads Best Kids Quran and teaches its classes. This is her qualification, as the academy describes it.

  • She holds the Alimah Fazilah qualification, the eight-year Dars-e-Nizami course of Wifaq-ul-Madaris.
  • She holds an ijazah with a sanad in Tajweed-ul-Quran, Hafs 'an 'Asim.

Parents are welcome to ask for the details of the qualification on WhatsApp at +92 305 9637306. We would rather you ask before enrolling than wonder afterwards.

Why does experience with children outside the Arab world matter?

Many of our families live in the USA, the UK, Canada and Australia, and Arabic is not spoken at home. These children meet the Quran as a new sound system, so they need patience and clear explanation of where each letter comes from.

Ustadha Ayesha has experience teaching children in exactly this situation. She speaks English, Urdu and Arabic, so she can explain a rule in the language your child understands and move into Arabic when it helps.

How does she teach?

Classes are private, live and one-to-one on Zoom, in 30-minute sessions. She uses a digital pen and on-screen slides, so the child sees each letter, rule or line being marked as it is explained.

  • Positive reinforcement and reward stickers, so children feel encouraged.
  • Daily duas, manners and stories of the Prophets alongside the Quran.
  • Gentle correction, repeated until the child is comfortable.

You can see how this fits each stage in our curriculum steps and read about the live class format.

Choosing a Quran teacher for your child is a trust decision, and you are right to ask questions. We suggest these.

  1. Who exactly will teach my child's class?
  2. Can I see the details of the teacher's qualification?
  3. How is a class run, and what will my child do in it?
  4. How will I know how my child is progressing?

Classes are private one-to-one. Parents are welcome to sit nearby, and we suggest a parent stays close for young children. Ask us on WhatsApp who will teach the trial class and we will answer plainly.

What to expect

Teaching is only part of the picture. Progress varies with your child's age, practice at home and regularity of classes. After the trial class, the teacher will describe a realistic pace for your child.

Classes are booked around your family's time zone in the USA, the UK, Canada or Australia, and you can ask about weekend slots. Ask for a free 3-day trial, subject to teacher availability, or see the monthly plans.
