How does the free trial work?

The trial class is free, and you can decide afterward whether to continue. It is arranged through the form on this page or on WhatsApp, and it is subject to teacher availability.

  1. Request the trial. Fill in the short form. Your WhatsApp number is required, because that is how the academy replies to you.
  2. We match your child. A teacher is matched to your child's age and level, and the academy confirms the class times with you on WhatsApp.
  3. Your child joins the class. The class is live and one-to-one on Zoom.
  4. You decide. Choose a plan after the trial, or stop if it is not right for your family.

What happens in the trial class?

The class is a normal 30-minute class. The teacher says salam, meets your child and listens to them read or recite whatever they know, even if it is only a few letters. She uses on-screen slides and a digital pen, with positive reinforcement and reward stickers.

She is not testing your child. She is learning where your child is, so she can suggest where to begin: Noorani Qaida, Tajweed rules, fluent reading, or daily duas and prayer. You can read more about the live class format.

What should I send when I ask for the trial?

Classes are booked around families in the USA, the UK, Canada and Australia, and weekend slots can be asked about.

After the trial, there are three monthly plans for private 30-minute classes. Prices are per month, and classes can be rescheduled if your family travels, with notice.

  • Foundations track, $45 per month: two classes a week, with a monthly progress report.
  • Core Tajweed track, $65 per month: three classes a week, with Tajweed and daily duas.
  • Intensive Hifz track, $99 per month: five classes a week, for memorization and Tajweed practice.

What to expect

One trial cannot show everything. Progress depends on your child's age, practice at home and regularity of classes. After the trial class, the teacher will describe a realistic pace, and she will not promise a speed.

Classes are private one-to-one. Parents are welcome to sit nearby, and we suggest a parent stays close for young children. Before enrolling, ask the academy who the teacher is and how classes are run. You can read about our teachers first.

That is common and the teacher expects it. She begins gently, with simple questions and praise, and does not push. A parent can sit nearby. If your child needs a second class to feel settled, mention it on WhatsApp and ask what can be arranged.
